June 2011 Location of the Month

atlas lead image - web.jpg

The DC Office of Motion Picture and Television Development is pleased to honor the Atlas Performing Arts Center in Northeast as the One City Location of the Month for June. The Atlas Performing Arts Center is a 59,000 square ft. facility located in a renovated historic movie theatre complex, which has been given new life to a Northeast neighborhood as a state of the art 21st century arts center. Located in the heart of the rapidly revitalizing H Street NE Arts and Entertainment District, more commonly called the Atlas District, the Atlas has been the catalyst for change and rebirth in this once-neglected area.
