District Seeks 2003 Screenwriting Contest Winner

The DC Office of Motion Picture and TV Development and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities are holding the Third Annual Film Screenwriting Competition.

The Third Annual DC Film Screenwriters Competition.
- Entries must be original, unpublished work.
- Submissions are limited to one per writer or writing team.
- Entries must be in standard industry format for screenplays.
- 85 percent of the script¦s locations must be authentic.

All Washington, DC residents 18 years of age or over. |

Washington, DC Office of Motion Picture and TV Development and DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. |

All entries must be mailed and postmarked by March 14, 2003. |
Prizes
The first place winner will travel to Los Angeles, CA for three days to visit the set of (The West Wing¦ and participate in a writer¦s session with the creators of the show. The first place winner will also be given an opportunity to make a guest appearance on (The West Wing¦.
