What do The Sentinel, Bones, The Simple Life, Mission: Impossible III, The Good Shepherd, Rachel Ray’s Tasty Travels, American Idol, and Thank You for Smoking have in common? A part of each was filmed in Washington, DC. To pave the way for greater participation in the industry by businesses in the District of Columbia, we publish the Production Resource Guide and have begun the Film DC Incentive Program. The Production Resource Guide includes listings of businesses and organizations that service the film and video industry.

To be listed, you must:

  1. Be located in Washington, DC or the metropolitan area.
  2. Provide three recent references from film, TV or video productions.
  3. Include a current resume or letter on company letterhead.
  4. Complete this application form* and mail to:

Office of Motion Picture and TV Development

    2025 M Street, NW, Suite 600

    Washington, DC 20036
